Signature Style.

Every Thompson & Brown home begins with something different: a client, a piece of land and a vision for how they want to live.

Luxury custom new home by Thompson & Brown

LUXURY NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION

Built around your vision, your land, and how you want to live.

We don’t build toward a particular architectural style or look. Instead, we work alongside our clients and their design teams to bring each home’s individual vision to life. From contemporary mountain homes to timeless traditional homes, our portfolio reflects a wide range of architectural styles. We’re comfortable with the complexity that comes with unique designs, challenging details and homes that are anything but ordinary.

As a Preferred Builder at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, Thompson & Brown has extensive experience building custom homes across Western North Carolina’s premier mountain communities. We understand the opportunities and challenges that come with building here, from steep terrain and site access to capturing views and making the most of a home’s relationship to the land.

Their attention to detail and quality were apparent throughout the build process. If you are considering building a luxury custom home and want a builder who combines exceptional craftsmanship with professionalism and a genuine commitment to excellence, we highly recommend Thompson and Brown Custom Builders.”

“We are absolutely thrilled with the quality, look, details and functionality of our new home. Thompson & Brown was amazing to work with, making complex decisions for us very simple and straightforward. The whole process was well organized and all the subcontractors were excellent and reliable. Above all, the communications were regular, honest and so helpful. Thompson & Brown continues to be responsive to every question and issue that comes up, even nearly two years after project completion! We wholeheartedly recommend them!”

“Thompson & Brown Custom Builders delivered a fantastic product, on time (early) and within budget. Their attention to detail, open lines of communication and expert coordination between architect, designer and all of the subcontractors on the project was brilliant. Somehow, Hurricane Helene did not slow them down one bit. We feel very fortunate to have worked with the best custom builder in WNC and gladly recommend them to anyone who asks.”
